Comprehensive Plan

What is a Comprehensive Plan?

In general terms, a comprehensive plan is long range planning document that guides the growth pattern of the Village. Village officials rely on the comprehensive plan to help them make decisions on how the physical development of the Village should occur. Since the development of a comprehensive plan involves public input, the plan represents the best “community based” opinion on how the Village should look and operate in the future. That’s why your input and comments are so important.
