Important Utility Information
General Utility Service
Water meters are read monthly, not necessarily on the last day of the month.
Bills are issued monthly in-between the 15th and the 20th. They're due by the 5th of the following month.
Bills come in postcard form via USPS. There is an option for electronic billing. Log into Payment Service Network (see Utility Billing page) and opt out by clicking on Settings, then Billing Options.
A $25.00 fee will be charged for each check returned for lack of funds.
The date on a check is not sufficient proof that payment was made on time.
Customers whose water services were disconnected for nonpayment of bills will be required to pay a $40.00 reconnect charge during regular office hours. After office hours, the water reconnect fee is $60.00.
Failure to receive a bill in no way exempts customers from the provisions of the above rules.
The Village of Little Chute is responsible for the water, sewer, and storm water rates.
Late Payment Charge
Payments must be received by the Village of Little Chute or Payment Service Network on or before the due date. A charge of no more than 1% per month will be added to bills not paid within 20 days from the date of issuance. The late payment charge will be applied to the total unpaid balance for utility services. This charge is applicable to all customers.
Customers may receive a written notice no sooner than 20 days after the bill is issued and unless payment or satisfactory arrangement for payment is made within the next 10 days, service may be disconnected pursuant to Wis. Adm. Code, Section 113.
