Members of the Community Development Authority

The Community Development Authority consists of seven (7) seven members.  Two of the CDA members are Village Board members including the Village President who serves by Village Board appointment as Chair of the Authority.  Five (5) citizen members each serve for a four (4) year term.
Members are appointed by the Village Board at the Village's organizational meeting held the 3rd week in April.

Duties of the Community Development Authority
  • The CDA addresses issues within the Village concerning blight elimination, clearance of undesirable condition(s), urban renewal programs and projects and housing projects. 
  •  The CDA acts as the agent of the Village in planning and carrying out Community Development Programs and activities approved by the Village Board under the Federal Housing and Development Act.
