Located in the third largest metro area in Wisconsin the dynamic Fox Cities, Little Chute is a rapidly growing community with a rich history and bright future. Little Chute is a diverse community that contains a dynamic downtown area, robust commercial areas, established neighborhoods and expanding subdivisions. The Village President and six Trustees, comprising the Village Board, are elected on a non-partisan basis. $8M total annual department operating budget (including CIP, Fleet and Utilities); 17 FTE plus 3 PT employees. New 55,000 square foot DPW facility opened in 2017. Require Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/technology, public or business administration or related field with at least 3 years progressive municipal public works management and technical experience. Significant public works experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement. Residency is encouraged. Salary DOQ. Desire a strong background in public works operations (including transportation, fleet and utilities); budget development; human resources management; organizational leadership skills; intergovernmental cooperation and the ability to cultivate positive and productive relationships with the village board, staff and community members. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of integrity; a strong work ethic; commitment to citizen engagement; open and positive communication skills and collaborative decision-making in a strong team environment.
