Parks Department
The Parks Department maintains 9 parks and over 80 acres of parkland, open space areas, wilderness, and downtown parking lots for various activities. Uses include: playground equipment, picnicking, shelters and restrooms, trails, athletic facilities, volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, skatepark, outdoor pool, frisbee golf, ice-skating rinks, sledding hills, and festivals.
Doyle Park

Features a pool & waterslide, playground equipment, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, ball diamonds, batting cage, tennis courts,
shelter, restrooms, picnic areas, and fishing.
Heesakker Park
1509 E. Lincoln Ave.
Features hiking/nature trails, shelter, playground equipment, restrooms, sand volleyball court, picnic areas, rugby field, and fishing. In winter there is
a sledding hill and ice skating rink.
Island Park
100 Monore St.
Features handicap accessible fishing wharf and picnic tables. The park is open to pedestrian foot traffic only.
Legion Park
1125 Grand Ave.
Features a skateboard/in-line skate area, ball diamonds, batting cages, shelter, restrooms, basketball court (half-court), volleyball standards,
and picnic areas.
Van Lieshout Park
721 W. Elm Dr.
Features playground equipment, basketball court, sand volleyball court, ball diamond, batting cage, paved exercise paths, soccer fields, picnic areas,
shelter, restrooms, and in winter a sledding hill.
