The 22nd Annual Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival will be held on June 4, 5 & 6, 2010 at Doyle Park in Little Chute.
The festival will open at 5 p.m. on Friday night and will feature a cheese curd eating contest and musical entertainment of RPM.
Saturday will feature the big cheese parade, cheese carving demonstrations, children's entertainment, free cheese tasting, petting zoo,chainsaw artist, and music.
Sunday will feature the big cheese breakfast (held at LC Civic Center), cheesecake contest, children's entertainment, free cheese tasting, LITTLE CHUTE COMMUNITY BAND, and the band performances of Homemade Brew and McInnis
There will also be many food booths, novelty booths, children's rides ($1/ride), and games all three days.
An admission pass will be required to enter the festival grounds on Friday and Saturday. This year there will again be FREE admission to the festival grounds to everyone all day Sunday! Advance admission passes, which are valid for admission to the festival on Friday & Saturday, may be purchased starting the first week of May. An adult pass (age 13 & up) cost $4 and a child's pass (age 4 to 12) cost $2. Kids age 3 & under are admitted free and do not require a pass.Advance admission buttons will only be available through Thursday, June 4, at the LIttle Chute Park & Rec Dept, Village Hall, Capital Credit Union branches, BLC Community Bank, King's Variety Store, Larry's Piggly Wiggly, Simon's Specialty Cheese, Vanderloop Shoes, and Unison Credit Union. At the gate, admission pass will be $5 for adults and $3 for children.
All proceeds from the Festival will be donated back to the community in the form of scholarships, donations to schools and non-profit groups and park development projects.
