The Village Plan Commission consists of seven (7) members including the Village President and one (1) Trustee, the Director of Public Works and four (4) citizen members. The Village President is the Commission's presiding officer. Citizen members shall be persons of recognized experience and qualifications. Members are appointed by the Village President with confirmation by the Village Board at the Village's organizational meeting held the 3rd week in April.
Citizen members serve staggered three (3) year terms.

Duties of the Plan Commission
The Master Plan - Responsible to make and adopt a Master Plan for the physical development of the Village.
Public Hearings for Variance Requests.
Public Hearings for Conditional Use Requests.
Review and Recommendation to the Village Board of Plat Maps, and Certified Survey Maps
Review and Recommendations for Zoning Ordinances.
