The Jets Football program is open to upcoming 6th, 7th, & 8th graders who want to participate in a tackle football league. The Little Chute Jets are one of ten teams belonging to the Heart of the Valley Football League. The league does not encourage the "winning is everything" or "win at all costs" philosophy. This level of competition is intended to be a safe & fun experience for the players and coaches. All reasonable effort are made by the coaches to include all players in each game.
Jets Football player registration forms will be available in April at Little Chute Park & Rec Dept. or it can be downloaded by clicking HERE (link available in April). There is a $40 per resident and $50 per non-resident player registration fee for Jets Football. Completed player registration forms and fees will be taken at the May mandatory player & parent organizational meeting noted on the form. The final deadline for player registration is one week after the season starts.
Players are required to have a current physical or alternate year card on file with the Little Chute High school by the end of July to be eligible to play. Players who need a physical this year must have it completed by the end of July. Physical and alternate year cards will be available at the May meeting and at the Little Chute Park & Rec (located at Village Hall).
The Jets Football season begins in early August and ends in mid October. Practices are held at Van Lieshout Park, and home games are played at the Little Chute High School. If you have any questions, please call the Park & Rec Dept at 423-3869.
