Village and Department Updates
For any business that needs to be conducted with the Village of Little Chute, we ask that you first visit our website or call the appropriate office or staff person. We offer most services without making an in-person visit. Here are some helpful pages that will enable you to stay connected digitally:

Should you choose to visit one of our facilities, please be assured the following measures are in place:
- Plexi-glass dividers will be present at all public facing counters
- Social distancing measures will be in place to limit the number of people in facilities when necessary
- Hand sanitizer will be available at all entrances
- Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces
- Staff are encouraged to wear face coverings when in public settings where other physical barriers or social distancing measures are difficult to maintain
- Single use pens
General Public Guidelines - We need your help to ensure we best keep you and our staff healthy. Please help us by continuing to follow these general guidelines when visiting Village facilities:
- Stay home if you are feeling sick
- Practice social distancing and maintain 6 feet of distance whenever possible
- Each facility will have 6 foot markings to assist with social distancing
- Each facility may have unique instructions. Please be respectful and cognizant of these instructions and guidelines for your safety, your neighbors, and our staff
- Per CDC recommendation, wear a face covering if you in a public area (of a Village facility)
- Practice proper handwashing by washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds
Administration
- The Village Administrator can be contacted via phone at 920-423-3850
- The Village of Little Chute will be providing virtual meeting opportunities for all public meetings. This means you can observe and participate in meetings via your computer or phone from home. While the Board Room will be open for public attendance during meetings at this time, we recommend all members of the public participate virtually. - Our number one goal at this time is to continue all essential operations for the residents of Little Chute, which may mean changing how we do business.
Clerk’s Office
- 2021 Voting information including dates, deadlines, sample ballots and candidate information can be found here.
- Voter Registration, Absentee Ballot requests and tracking can be done at myvote.wi.gov
Regular Absentee ballot requests are good for one calendar year and can be made for 2022 starting January 1 by clicking here.
Community Development
- The Community Development Director and Building Inspector have provided updated policy and guidance related to COVID-19 - you can find these updates by clicking here.
To provide the safest and best service to the community, the Community Development and Inspections Department will be available for in person meetings by appointment only. Building and Zoning permits along with general information on permits, will be available outside our office on the 3rd floor room 3-2 as well as online. To set up an appointment see below:

Department of Public Works
- Public Works can be reached by calling (920) 423-3865 or e-mailing laura@littlechutewi.org. At this time our day to day operations have not changed.
- Renewal of Yard Waste Access Card. For more information on the process click here.
- Bulky and White Good (Metal) Collection & Wednesday Bagged Yard Waste Collection. If your item has freon in it (fridge, freezer, etc.) the item needs to have a sticker attached to it and the door(s) taken off. Stickers are $20 and are available for purchase at Village Hall.
Non-metal bulky items will also be collected. A reminder that no electronics will be accepted – computers, televisions, etc. Bulky items are items that cannot fit into your garbage polycart. Extra bags of garbage will not be collected. Construction material is also not considered bulky items.
Also, curbside collection of bagged yard waste will end on Wednesday, September 22nd. If you are interested in this service a $2 sticker would need to be purchased for each bag. Call (920) 423-3865 for more information on how to purchase these stickers. Collection takes place every Wednesday till September 23rd. You would need to call in your address once the yard waste is ready for collection. - If you have brush call (920) 423-3869 to be placed on the chipping list.
- Permits - Right-of-way permits can be obtained on the 2nd floor of Village Hall or e-mail laura@littlechutewi.org. Payments (cash or check) would need to be made in person or dropped off in the overnight box on the Grand Ave. entrance of Village hall.
Engineering Department
- Questions regarding construction projects or assessments can be taken by calling 920-423-3865.
- Engineering staff are available during normal business hours (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and can be contacted by phone as listed in the Village of Little Chute Engineering Department Staff Directory.

Finance Department
- Suggested Payment Options during the emergency include: Mail or drop box under canopy on Grand Avenue entrance (envelopes in box next to payment box for your convenience)
- Online Utility payment service using our third party provider PSN. Suggest using FREE e-check options or there is a credit card option available for a fee of 3.00%. See further information https://www.littlechutewi.org/528/Utility-Billing-Payments
- Need a dog license? We encourage the public to print the online application form to fill out and mail in or use night drop box including required information and payment. We will mail back your license and documentation. http://www.littlechutewi.org/426/Permits-Licenses
- We are here to answer your questions so please call for any payoff status or other questions regarding special assessments using the staff directory for direct call options or phone the general line at 920-788-7380, select option 1, then option 2.
Fox Valley Metro Police Department

Little Chute Library
Little Chute Library is fully open, Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Closed Sundays. For more information on programs and services available please view the Library's website here : https://littlechutelibrary.org/
Little Chute Fire Department

Municipal Court
- In person court appearances have resumed.
- In-person payments are accepted at the Little Chute Village Hall during regular business hours in the Finance Department. However, no contact payments are still preferred. No contact payments can be paid one of three ways:
- Online: http://www.officialpayments.com (jurisdiction code 6738). Or call Official Payments at 1-800-487-4567 to speak with a rep.
- Outside drop box (located on East side of Little Chute Village Hall): Cash, check or money order. Please mark with name and citation number(s).
- US Mail: Please make check payable to: Village of Little Chute & do not send cash in mail
- Please appear in court at the date/time specified on your citation if you wish to contest your violation. We ask that all unvaccinated please wear a mask.
- All not guilty pleas received (received prior to court date) will be referred to the Little Chute Village Prosecutor. You will receive instructions on how to proceed. All not guilty pleas should be signed and dated and include a valid phone number where you or your attorney can be reached as well as an email address.
- If you do not wish to contest your citation (and did not plan to appear in court) please follow above instructions for payment.

Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department
- Families are encouraged to register for summer programs online (https://littlechute.recdesk.com/Community/Home) or by calling the office at 920-423-3869. In person registration at the Park & Rec Office is available weekdays from 8am to 4:30pm
- As of July 2020, approved modified youth recreation programs were able to begin. For more information on available programs, please view our online listing of programs at https://littlechute.recdesk.com/Community/Home.
- As of June 2020, the Doyle Pool opened for the summer season. For more info on the pool, swim lessons, private rentals, and more, please visit https://www.littlechutewi.org/569/Doyle-Pool-Slide
- As of late May 2020, village park playgrounds, restrooms, and the skatepark were opened again to the public.
- Village parks and trails are open to the public - please try to maintain social distance of at least six feet from other people. Do not use parks or trails if you are sick.
- Water fountains in village parks are shut down until further notice.
- As of April 7, 2021, the group size limits on outdoor park facility rentals and the Van Lieshout Rec Center have been lifted.
- As of June 2, 2021, our Wednesday afternoon Senior Activities Program started up again playing cards.
